a short summery of the silver donkey is when 3 children find a solider in the woods and have to keep a secret or something may happen if they tell some one when. they were thinking about how to send the solider across the channel to go and see his sick brother john. they decide to tell a close friend Fabrice to think of a way to get the solider home through the book there are secrets and stories of the solders life the 3 children have fun with the solider and will carry on with his secrets.
